Baha’i Rants is dead. Long live Baha’i Rants!

If you’ve arrived courtesy of the redirect message at bahairants.blogspot.com, welcome!

You made it.

And if you stumbled upon this humble cyber abode by other means, then a warm welcome to you too.

My only request is that you forgive the mess.

We’re not quite finished the move so I beg your indulgence. Please watch out for dangling CSS files, sharp pointy scripts and slippery html code scattered about. And if you happen to bump into the interior decorator please inquire, on my behalf, as to the success of his search for a header jpg and a theme.

In my defense I remind you, as any Counsellor/ABM worth their salt would, that moving to a new URL is a process, not an event.

    Hi Aryanna,

Thanks for dropping by. And yes, there are a lot of Baha’i blogs out there. And more are coming every single day. Wonderful isn’t it?

    Hi Baquia,

I am very glad you are still out there in cyber space! Yes. Everything now is a “process” NOT an “event”. As the “Baha’i Faith speak” would say the people who had to jump to their deaths on 9/11 were not dying as they fell (an “event”) but only in the “process” of dying as they encountered the force of gravity for 12 seconds. So it goes.

Somehow I have always felt Glenford Mitchell’s mind behind this profound admin-o-centric amazing pettyness of “event” vs “process” human consciousness now fully embedded in the new ITC Faith Revelation where Shoghi Effendi is the Supreme Maniferstation of God for the World Age.

There are many people now big in the BAO who will have to be buried in unmarked graves in the future because they will be so hated and despised in all future ages for what they allowed to be done to the once beloved and profound Baha’i Faith.

    Greetings!

Carmel, thanks for the suggestion. I looked at the site and it seems to be just another ‘aggregator’ – basically hoovering mentions of the word ‘Bahai’ from the net and slapping them together. I’m not interested in that sort of blog. I’d rather spend my time reading something interesting. You know, original thought, critical analysis, fresh perspectives, etc… I talk about the state of the Baha’i blogosphere in the entry after this one. Check it out.

Sigmund! always good to hear from you. And thank you for your kind words.

Glad to see your still going. As a student of religion I have always been interested in new ideas and thoughts. As a Christian Universalist I have grave concerns about Bahai orthodoxy and its adherants ability to be any different than those in other religious, philosophical and political organizations that seem incumbant on forcing their views on the rest of humanity. Intolerance is the essence of human evil and resisting it the essence of real humanity. Jesus of Nazareth strugged against intorerance and payed the ultimate sacrafice. But death could not stop his message and hopefully your endevours will have a positive effect for you and your fellow belivers. Keep up the good work and I will do what I can to help keep the world informed about the brutal and evil attacks against your brothers and sisters in faith as best as I can.
