You are right on the mark here in your comments. Did Shoghi Effendi ever implement the “sister community” concept on his watch? That should have been started on Day One in 1922! A no brainer of an idea to get this all going in the expansion of world consciousness at the grass roots level. At some point, this really is a natural counter solution to the present demise of the Faith. If there is ever any change in the Professional A.O. Class in the shaping of the Faith this should be one of the first new people to people strategies implemented after the UHJ/ITC/Counsellors/ABM/AABM/Lifetime employment US NSA Faith is dismantled by the fierce Divine Judgement of the Cosmos.

As to SED your comments are again right on the mark. We built those beautiful buildings. I sent my money. I went fully along with it believing the argurment that we had to do this first. If we now don’t start on actually solving problems in the world and VERY SOON, card carrying Baha’is are going to start hanging in all the worlds of God on all the planes of existence seven generations forward and seven generations back. We will be the embarrassment of the Universe. Terminal shame!

But in a strange way the real Baha’i Faith is alive and well in the world in the form of these organizations that can actually DO THINGS! To find spiritual life and reconnection to the Spirit of the Age as brought by Baha’u'llah all the rank and file need to do is start sending money and giving their volunteer services to these organizations. It is all out there. The Baha’i Faith is alive and well everywhere in the world EXCEPT in the Baha’i Faith! What a paradox! But the spiritual power IS out there to save everyone’s endocrine system if we all now choose to go that route to find spiritual life again after having bet on what may rturn out to be an abysmal dead horse.

We have to somehow get the Faith into the hands of major talent, into the hands of first rate thinkers, and completely competent people.

The vote must become the terrible swift sword of Almighty God as it was given to us by Baha’u'llah. The terrible, terrible swift sword of Almighty God upon these people who have taken us to the brink of catastrophe.

Such interaction between Baha’i communities has been going on between Portuguese Baha’is and African Baha’is (in Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and S.Tome)

The Ruhi institute seems important to create a basic common knowledge amongst the majority of the believers. I know a lot of believers who really need such activities; but I also know several who don’t seem benefit from attending the Ruhi institute.

I also remember another letter from the House where it was stated that we cannot have one person doing everything and everyone doing the same thing (I don’t know the exact quote or the date; I believe it was issued in the early 90’s). So what about those who don’t like (or need) the Ruhi institute take the initiative of some SED project?

Let us have in mind that a SED project may be something as simple as sponsoring a university student, our teaching a foreign language.

The way I see things, teaching projects and SED projects are twin priorities.
