Truth Happens

If I seem to have not updated the past few days it is because I’ve been very busy. In fact there is much that I would like to write and share with you. Especially a recent event which, I believe, is one for the history books. But of course, you won’t hear or read about it from any official Baha’i source.

Until soon, I hope this will tide you over and perhaps serve as a small hint of what is to come.

It is a commercial for linux. Although you may not know what that is or even care, the message is wonderful and why I wanted to share it with you:

first they ignore you…
then they laugh at you…
then they fight you…
and then you win.

    Neat!

I’m surprised at the Edison quotes. Especially the one about the phonograph (if I caught that correctly — of no use of something like that). His famous all nighter was pulled bringing a photograph to market when the competition was hot — or so I remember from reading and visiting his lab years ago.

The other thing that is striking is that great minds aren’t always right but if they are great they keep going anyway.

Its almost funny to use such a brilliant piece of ad ware on the claim that Linux is better than Unix or Windows or OSX. As you imply, Baquia — very few computer users care. In fact we would rather not need to worry about ‘truths’ at this level. Its like worrying about what kind or automatic transmission a car has — most people just want it to work and not break.

    Peace,
    Frank

Ah! I still love Linux and the LAMP model. Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. Uh. Well, LAM anyway!

But Flex 2 and Apollo will change EVERYTHING now as they develop. 25 years in the making on the x86 Intel Instruction set and it’s virtual machines.

My Baha’i astrologer friend(s) also say there is a sea change coming in the Baha’i Faith starting in 2008.

The spiritual clique currently running the Baha’i Faith and the Neocon clique currently running the government of the United States are the EXACT same ARCHETYPE spiritually.

Arrogant top down passive aggressive elitists who gamed electoral processes to feed their insecure obsessive-compulsive narcissistic egotistical self identity struggles.

But the wheels are all starting to fall off.

And it is going to only get worse.

To use the software analogy there is a spiritual Flex 2/Apollo/Silverlight/JavaFX that is coming upon the Baha’i Faith starting in 2008.

The 1982 film “The Dark Crystal” called it perfectly.

The cosmic judgment of archetypes as the massive star gates change in the planes of the Cosmos. Keep the cameras rolling. It is not going to be pretty.

Ah! Adobe Flex 2! A thing of consummate beauty in software development and application engineering! Just gorgeous stuff!
